I stopped being cool in 1986!
I am a full time ‘Marketing Officer Executive’ by day, a community volunteer on the weekends and a blogger at times. Previous jobs include radio show host, waiter, supermarket cashier and industry researcher.
I am interested in music, photography, food, marketing, cultures and the arts. I live with my brother and friend in an odd ball of a household in a city where life keeps you on your toes. I was born to Tibetan parents, educated in India, lived in Nepal and am currently working in Australia. I believe that the world has become a smaller place in this century and that we are more similar than we know. I am not very religious and think that human values and goodness by themselves are enough to secure a seat in heaven or to be reborn in a good way.
I am always happy to learn new things. I am particularly interested in learning musical instruments and am currently learning to play the koto (Japanese floor harp). I also cook my own dinners and am not too fussy about food (except for fish, boiled eggs and rare steak).
If you like Flight of the Conchords, play music and are into photography, we could be friends.
Till then, I hope you enjoy this blog.
Respect,
DhondupLa.
